S.H.E.D. is a project sponsored by the Graduate Studies department at Rosemont College and partially funded by the PA Department of Education. It is a training program to introduce teachers to interdisciplinary techniques to be used in their classrooms, and is organized around the theme of the Schuylkill River system, its ecosystem and the heritage it represents.
The discussions which took place during the preparation of the state grant proposal helped spark the idea for this web site.
